As the founder and managing editor of GearMoose, I have consistently developed a content marketing plan for the site based on reader feedback, keyword research, and competitor analysis. By 2014, I began to build a fully remote team of talented freelancers which included experienced writers, graphic designers, web developers, content researchers, and by 2019, a fully-remote managing editor.

Together with my team, a content calendar was put into place, and a complete catalog of processes was created and put into action for the remote team to keep the content machine running smoothly. By 2020, the website had grown to over $700k in annual recurring revenue.

I also spent much of 2017 performing research and development for a mustache wax brand, performing competitor analysis and perfecting the actual concoction to be manufactured for sale. By early 2018, Peckerhead Mustache Wax was born, which to this day brings in over $40K in annual recurring revenue.

After founding gearmoose.com in 2012, I naturally began to build my graphic design skills including becoming confident in Pixlr E and Adobe Photoshop, In 2023, I began working nights learning front end web development.
